Homemade Ranch Veggie Dip Recipe

Personally, I am a big fan of the pre-made ranch dip seasoning that you can find at the grocery store. But, as convenient and tasty as it is, it’s also made with unnecessary additives like MSG! (Probably why it tastes so good…) So, after polishing off a batch of dip made with the pre-made ranch mix, I decided to come up with a homemade ranch dip to see how it turned out.

Thankfully, this ranch veggie dip is the result, and it is SO good! No MSG but still TONS of flavor—all from a simple DIY blend of dried herbs and spices. It may be even tastier because I get to control how much of which flavors I add!

Made with a base of your choice of mayonnaise with sour cream or Greek yogurt, this dip is irresistibly thick and creamy. Plus, super simple to throw together in a pinch, and it’s low carb and keto friendly!

Homemade Ranch Dip

Ranch Veggie Dip Ingredients

½ cup mayo of choice
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
¼ tsp dry dill
¼ tsp dried parsley
¼ tsp dried chives
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
⅛ tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
1 tsp lemon juice

How to Make Homemade Ranch Dip

Making this homemade ranch veggie dip is as easy as add everything to a bowl, then mix! That’s seriously it, and it’s ready to serve right away. If I’m in a serious time crunch, sometimes I’ll just skip the mayo and add all of the dry herbs and seasonings straight into a small tub of sour cream—no bowl needed!

Serve up your homemade ranch dip with your favorite raw veggies, cut into rounds or sticks for dipping. I love to pair it with radishes, carrots, and cucumbers, but this dip is also super delicious served with chips!
