How to Make Cheeseburger Sliders at Home

Making these Hawaiian roll cheeseburger sliders is JUST as easy as making any old homemade burger. The only real difference is the size of your patties, along with the addition of those flavorful meat bars.

Prepare Patties

To start, finely chop the EPIC® Meat Bars of your choice so they’re small enough to integrate into your cheeseburger sliders patties. Personally, I went with the Jalapeño Beef and Chicken Sriracha bars because they add SO much zesty flavor into my patties—and I don’t have to add any additional seasoning! Feel free to use any flavor(s) that you like.

I mix those chopped bars into my ground beef, then form the mixture into small, slider-sized patties. For me, that ended up being 1lb of meat separated into 6 small patties—around 2.5 inches in diameter each. Or, you could also make these as 4 larger-sized patties if you’d prefer.

Pan Fry & Melt Cheese

Finally, I simply add my patties onto a pan over medium-high heat, no oil or cooking fat needed. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes on each side—they don’t need long if you like them medium rare! For true cheeseburger sliders, add a small piece of cheese on top immediately after flipping, but you can of course skip the cheese if desired.

Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add slider patties (I cooked 4 at a time). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side for sliders cooked to medium doneness, or 4-5 minutes for more well-done sliders. Once flipped, immediately add cheese.

Assembling & Serving Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders

Once cooked and the cheese has melted to your liking, transfer from the pan right onto your Hawaiian rolls or slider buns of choice. Add a bit of your favorite BBQ sauce to balance out the spice, along with any toppings and condiments your heart desires.

I went with lettuce, fresh red onion, pickles, and some ketchup and mustard—but anything you like works great. And, quick as that, these Hawaiian roll cheeseburger sliders are ready to serve and DEVOUR!
