Eggnog Overnight Oats (Dairy-Free & Vegan w/ my Homemade Eggnog!)
Enjoy a holiday-flavored breakfast with these eggnog overnight oats—that use EGGNOG instead of milk! Really, you can try this simple swap with any overnight oats recipe that you like. But, it’s a fun change of pace to make fall and winter breakfasts more festive!
And, it’s an easy meal prep recipe that can help you stay on track during the holiday season. Let’s be real, most everyone gets tired of healthy eating from time to time. (Especially during the holidays.) So, find ways to switch up the routine and feed your holiday spirit!
If you’re an eggnog fan, these eggnog overnight oats could be just the thing to try. (Although, I wouldn’t recommend adding rum to this breakfast like you might into traditional eggnog, but heck, it’s your breakfast!)
They’ve got all the wholesome nutrients and complex carbs that classic overnight oats offer, but with a sweet and tasty flavor twist. Plus, YOU control the type of eggnog that you use!
Christian goes CRAZY for eggnog, and he couldn’t get enough of these oats. He’s all about the full-fat, extra thick, and delicious store-bought kind, and he thought this recipe was a winner!
Of course, you can use any store-bought eggnog that you like. But, to keep these eggnog overnight oats a bit healthier, try one of my lighter recipes for dairy free eggnog AND a vegan eggnog! (Bonus: make a batch and keep whatever’s leftover for sipping on!)
Even if you’re not a fan of traditional eggnog, I can’t recommend this recipe enough! It’s definitely going to become a staple in our house during the holidays from now on.
It’s creamy, filled with holiday spice and flair, and the perfect way to start your day this season (or any time of the year, if you ask me!)
