Make This Cauliflower Popcorn Your Own

For this recipe, I kept my cauliflower popcorn simple with just salt and garlic powder. And, my main intention there was to appeal to finicky or picky eaters. Keep the seasonings simple but still tasty, and a cauliflower ‘hater’ might be open to trying it!

Often, picky eaters don’t even know whether or not they like an unfamiliar food. Especially if they haven’t even tried it yet! So, dressing up an unfamiliar food with familiar seasonings they already like might make them open to trying it. And, even calling this dish cauliflower popcorn can make the food more enticing.

But, you can go wild with different flavors here! You could add curry powder, parmesan cheese, or some nutritional yeast for a cheesy yet VEGAN cauliflower popcorn recipe. And, those seasonings will also make your cauliflower popcorn more golden yellow—like real popcorn!

Of course, the old school striped popcorn bag is optional. And, you could offer this as a side dish to a meal, but encouraging kids to eat their cauliflower popcorn with their hands makes for a more authentic popcorn experience! Delicious served warm, but also fun to eat cold!
