Tofu Sesame Cubes

With a simple marinade and an oven, you can make crispy, flavorful tofu! Slice your tofu into smaller cubes for a poppable, on-the-go snack that’s great warm or cold. Plus, tofu is a amazing source of plant-based protein, with ALL nine essential amino acids! It’s also a great plant-based option for a low carb lifestyle—if you can find sprouted tofu, it tends to be slightly lower in carbs!


  • 3 Tbsp bragg’s liquid aminos
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 16 oz super-firm tofu
  • Procedure

  • Slice tofu into cubes, or strips if you prefer.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together Bragg’s liquid aminos—which is just a natural soy sauce alternative—with sesame oil, sesame seeds, cumin, and garlic powder.
  • Add tofu cubes and toss to coat.
  • Marinate in fridge for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Place on a baking tray and bake 35 minutes until golden brown.
  • Enjoy hot or cold!
