No Bake Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites – Easy Edible Cookie Dough Balls!
These tasty chocolate chip cookie dough bites LOOK and TASTE like indulgent little cookie dough balls—but they’re made from deliciously wholesome ingredients!
Coconut flour is an awesome fuel-filled alternative to refined flours, rich in healthy fats and satisfying fiber. Plus, combined with creamy cashew butter, it gives these chocolate chip cookie dough bites the soft, toothsome texture of a cookie and the perfect level of saltiness!
Of course, you can use any other nut butter you prefer. But, the real star here is the mashed banana, packing loads of flavor and natural sweetness into each bite. Best of all, these are NO BAKE chocolate chip cookie dough bites, they’re totally egg-free, and safe to devour raw!
Healthy, Edible Cookie Dough vs. Traditional
Whether it’s homemade cookie dough or even the pre-made store-bought dough, it’s undeniably delicious. Unfortunately, it’s definitely not a healthy choice—and often it can be a risky choice. Luckily, these no bake chocolate chip cookie dough bites offer a wholesome and safe alternative!
Usually, traditional cookie dough features refined flour, loads of refined sugars, butter, and eggs. Those refined grains and sugars wreak havoc on our blood sugar balance and offer our bodies no fuel. Plus, it can be unsafe to eat both raw flour and raw eggs, due to disease-causing bacteria that they might contain.
So, in these chocolate chip cookie dough bites, I’ve nixed the refined grains altogether and used coconut flour instead! It’s an unrefined flour option and it still contains the wholesome fats, fiber, and other nutrients from the coconut. And, I’m so in love with its extra-fluffy texture!
Then, I ditched the eggs and butter, using cashew butter to hold these chocolate chip cookie dough bites together instead. And, instead of refined sugars, I’ve used mashed banana for natural sweetness and just ¼ cup of maple syrup in this entire recipe. Soft, sweet, and totally safe to devour!

Hi Alyssia
Can i replace the cashew butter with peanut butter, the maple syrup with honey and the coconut flour with another type of flour?
Thank you
Hi there! All of those substitutions should work just fine – although I would recommend replacing the coconut flour with a similarly-dense flour, like almond flour. A different grain-based flour might work, but I can’t say for certain!
