Get the sweet, creamy taste of cherry pie in a fuel-filled SMOOTHIE! You can use fresh or frozen cherries—I personally like using frozen because they substitute for ice in the smoothie, and they’re affordable year-round. Plus, cherries can help fight inflammation and they’re LOADED with healthy antioxidants! Use dairy-free milk and yogurt to keep this smoothie vegan!
1 cup frozen cherries
1/3 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup oats
pinch of salt
sweetener of choice (to taste)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup yogurt of choice
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass, serve, and enjoy!
I like to top mine with coconut whipped cream, but you can use any toppings you prefer!
