Slow Cooker Buffalo Tofu

If you’re looking for a quick and easy dinner with a bit of a flavor kick, this is the recipe for you! And, it’s a vegetarian slow cooker meal with only 3 ingredients! The tofu soaks up the buffalo flavor nicely, and super-firm tofu will become nice and tender when it’s cooked but won’t crumble. You can use a packet of ranch seasoning mix, or I used the DIY ranch seasoning blend from my Meal Prep eBook! This recipe also works great with chicken.


  • 8-12 oz frank’s red hot wings buffalo sauce
  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix OR I used my DIY ranch mix from my Meal Prep eBook!
  • 2 pounds (lbs) super-firm tofu cubed
  • Procedure

  • Add all ingredients to slow cooker.
  • Cover with lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours. (Can also cook for 3 hours on high, but low and slow cooking results in much more tender tofu!)
  • Serve with a side of blue cheese crumbles and enjoy!
  • Yields 32 ounces Buffalo Tofu.
  • NOTE: If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can also cook this recipe in a pot over the stove. Just add your ingredients and cook over low for the same amount of time—but, I do NOT recommend leaving the house if you choose to use this method! Be sure to monitor the pot while it cooks!
