Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 green tea bags
  • 3 cups homemade lemonade (or store-bought)
  • ice to serve

Instructions

  • Prepare fresh squeezed lemonade and chill in the fridge, or acquire your favorite store-bought lemonade.
  • Add sliced peaches to a pot and cover with water. Cover pot and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, use a masher or a wooden spoon to mash the peaches, then turn heat down to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat, add green tea bags, and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Strain the liquid, and feel free to keep the mashed peaches for smoothies or oats!
  • Allow peach green tea mixture to cool before transferring to a pitcher and refrigerating. Chill for about an hour. (If desired, enjoy tea alone serve over ice.)
  • For peach green tea lemonade, combine equal parts chilled peach green tea with lemonade, then serve over ice!
  • Yields 6 cups (48oz).
