Ingredients

Healthy Edible Cookie Dough Base

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 Tbsp coconut flour
  • tsp salt
  • Tbsp coconut oil melted (or butter)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp almond milk
  • flavorings & mix ins see recipes below for ideas

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • Add in remaining ingredients, except for mix-ins, and stir until the dough is smooth.
  • Fold in desired flavorings and mix-ins.
  • Chill for 30 minutes to an hour. (If you can wait!)
  • Roll into balls or eat with a spoon!
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for a month.

To bake into cookies:

  • Add an egg to dough and mix well to integrate. Refrigerate 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Shape dough into discs (recipe yields ~12 cookies) and transfer to a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.
