  • ¼ cup pecan halves
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup milk of choice (add more if needed for blending)
  • cup yogurt of choice
  • ½ banana sliced & frozen
  • 2 tsp maple syrup to taste
  • tsp vanilla
  • tsp cinnamon
  • small pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Place oats and pecan halves on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until toasted. Allow to cool completely.
  • Add toasted oats and pecans to a blender and pulse until finely ground.
  • Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Serve with a straw and enjoy!
  • Yields 8oz maple toasted oat & pecan smoothie.
