These easy protein balls without dates are chewy, satisfying, and made with oats, peanut butter, flaxseed, hemp hearts, and chocolate chips. No food processor required!

1 ½ cups rolled oats ½ cup creamy peanut butter or almond/sunflower seed butter ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup ¼ cup ground flaxseed or chia seeds ¼ cup hemp hearts optional 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon fine salt ⅓ cup mini M&M’s or mini chocolate chips
In a medium bowl, stir together peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Add rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and hemp hearts. Stir until a thick dough forms.
Fold in mini chocolate chips.
Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes, until the dough firms up.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll into balls.
Store chilled for the best texture.
