Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • tsp nutmeg
  • tsp cloves
  • tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup mix-ins pecans, fruit, chocolate chips, etc.

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 eggs or ½ cup applesauce or mashed banana
  • 1 ½ cups milk of choice
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey, coconut sugar, or brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp molasses
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In one bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk wet ingredients until combined.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet and stir well.
  • Fold in mix-ins if desired.
  • Spray an 8-inch round or 9×9-inch pan and pour in the mixture.
  • Bake 35–45 minutes, until the top is lightly browned and edges are crisp.
  • Cool 10 minutes before serving.
