Ingredients

Non Alcoholic Mulled Wine

  • 3 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 cups red grape juice
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cranberries (or frozen & thawed)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 star anise
  • 3 whole cloves
  • pinch of ground nutmeg

Sugared Serving Glasses

  • clear mugs or serving glasses of choice
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½-1 cup sparkling sugar

Instructions

How to Make Mulled Wine without Alcohol

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan ove rlow heat. Simmer for 20 minutes, or up to 1 hour for more flavor. (If desired, taste after simmering and add sugar to your preference.)
  • Serve warm or cold in serving glasses of choice. Garnish with sliced oranges, cinnamon sticks, and additional cranberries if desired.

Optional Sugared Rim:

  • Squeeze lemon juice onto a shallow dish or plate. Add sparkling sugar to a separate shallow dish, forming a rough circle shape the same size as your glass’ rim. .
  • Dip serving glass into shallow dish with lemon juice. Shake off excess juice gently. Dip rim into sparkling sugar, coating all the way around the edge of the glass.
  • Carefully pour or ladle mulled wine into prepared serving glasses
