Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (15-oz), drained & rinsed
  • ¼ cup cashew butter or neutral nut butter of choice
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp water or milk if needed
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt

Toppings:

  • slivered almonds
  • chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Combine all hummus ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Add desired toppings and serve with pretzels, strawberries, and apple slices as dippers!
  • Yields 2 cups
