Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3-4 Tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp milk of choice
  • pinch of salt
  • optional: ¼ tsp baking powder to help batter rise and take shape of waffle iron mold

Instructions

  • In a large measuring cup, whisk all ingredients together.
  • Pour batter into a heated, greased waffle iron, making sure it’s evenly spread across the griddle.
  • Cook according to your machine’s directions. (Mine needed about 3-5 minutes. Some of the batter may seep out of the sides of your waffle iron, but this is okay!)
  • Carefully remove from waffle iron, serve, and enjoy!
  • Egg waffle recipe yields 2 servings.
