Wonder Ball

Wonder Ball

Ever wondered what’s in a Wonder Ball? It’s a question that defined the ‘90s. But, now, you don’t have to wonder—because you can decide what goes in your own HOMEMADE Wonder Ball! Feel free to fill with your favorite goodies.

  • 1 Tbsp almond slivers
  • 12 oz chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp dried blueberries
  • 1 Tbsp mixed raisins
  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 Tbsp shelled sunflower seeds (kernels)
  • 1 Tbsp walnuts chopped
  • Procedure

  • Melt chocolate.
  • Spread melted chocolate in a layer in each silicone mold compartment. (I used a silicone mold with 6 half-sphere compartments, which created 3 Wonder Balls. You’ll need 2 chocolate half-spheres per Wonder Ball.)
  • Freeze for 10 minutes.
  • While chocolate freezes, add filling ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix to combine.
  • Once chocolate has hardened, gently pop out of molds.
  • Spoon some filling mixture (~1 Tbsp) into a chocolate half-sphere.
  • Squeeze or spread some melted chocolate along the rim of that half-sphere as your “glue,” then take another chocolate half-sphere and place it on top to seal the Wonder Ball.
  • Repeat process to create additional Wonder Balls.
  • Freeze completed Wonder Ball for 5 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
  • Yields 8 Wonder Balls.
