You don’t have to wait for the holiday season to enjoy white hot chocolate at Starbucks – now you can make it yourself!It’s the perfect warm-up on a chilly day, or just a simple comfort on any day. It’s simple, easy to make, and totally vegan! It’s best to drink this soon after making it (before the ingredients start to separate), or be sure to stir it up well before serving!
2 cups Almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice
4 Tbsp Cacao butter
2 Tbsp Maple syrup
1 tsp Vanilla
Melt cacao butter, vanilla and sweetener in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk to combine.
Add milk and whisk well. Allow it to come to a light simmer.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
If you’d like, top with coconut whipped cream and white chocolate shavings.
