Tuna Avocado Salad

Try this spin on traditional tuna salad, that uses mashed avocados as its creamy element instead of mayonnaise! It’s light, flavorful, and still has a tasty crunch from the celery and walnuts.

Ingredients

Salad
  • 1.5 avocados mashed
  • 10 oz canned tuna
  • 1/2 cup celery finely diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely diced
  • 3 Tbsp walnuts chopped
  • Seasonings
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 lime juiced
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt, to taste
  • Procedure

  • In a large mixing bowl, mash avocados.
  • Add seasonings and mix to combine.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix to coat. Season to taste, as needed.
  • Serve with crackers, on a sandwich, or enjoy it on its own!
