Trail Mix Bites

Add a healthy sweet treat to your meal prep with these easy trail mix bites! They’ve got a deliciously crave-able crunch, plus they’re low in sugar and high in antioxidants thanks to the dark chocolate! I recommend using at least 70% cacao dark chocolate for maximum health benefits, but you can use whichever kind of chocolate you prefer. Top with your favorite nuts, seeds, and dried fruits! (Just be sure to choose dried fruit without added sugars.)


  • almonds
  • dark chocolate (melted)
  • diced prunes
  • goji berries (unsweetened)
  • pumpkin seeds
  • raisins
  • Procedure

  • In a double boiler (or microwave, if preferred), melt chocolate.
  • Dollop melted chocolate (about 1 teaspoon) onto a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  • Add nuts, seeds, and fruit to each chocolate dollop.
  • Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight, until firm.
  • Pop each trail mix bite off of parchment. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge as a snack throughout the week!
