Taco Salad

Try this fresh salad with all the flavors of your favorite taco but half the calories! It’s tasty, easy to make, and costs less than $1 total! Feel free to experiment with your favorite ingredients and toppings.


  • 1/2 cup Black beans
  • 1/4 cup Canned tomatoes
  • 2 cups Iceberg lettuce or mixed greens of choice
  • 2 Tbsp Salsa
  • 2 Tbsp Shredded cheese
  • Taco seasoning to taste
  • Procedure

  • Add beans, tomatoes, and taco seasoning to a pan over medium-high heat and sauté to combine and heat through.
  • Transfer to a jar with shredded cheese, salsa, and lettuce, making sure lettuce is on top or in a separate jar for on-the-go purposes. Enjoy!
