Sweet Potato Hummus

Sweet potato and hummus? It sounds like an odd combo but they complement each other brilliantly! Savory and sweet, creamy and delicious, you will not be disappointed in this spread!


  • pinch of cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 can of garbanzo beans 15oz, drained and rinsed
  • 2-3 tsp garlic fresh
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 sweet potatoes medium
  • 1 Tbsp tahini
  • Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor until creamy as desired. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Serve with crackers or veggies for dipping, or use on sandwiches!
