Slow Cooker Maple Dijon Chicken

This chicken is so tender, it will fall apart in your mouth while you’re eating it! It’s sweet from the maple syrup and the Dijon makes this dish nice and tangy. Where savory meets sweet, you’ll find all deliciousness! You could also use honey if you prefer honey mustard flavor. Just 3 simple ingredients are needed to make this slow cooker recipe, and it’s so versatile—serve it on rice, on top of a salad, or just enjoy it on its own!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (lbs) boneless skinless chicken breast cut into cubes
  • 12 oz Dijon Mustard
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • Procedure

  • Add all ingredients to slow cooker.
  • Cover with lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours. (Can also cook for 3 hours on high, but low and slow cooking results in much more tender chicken!)
  • Serve and enjoy! This recipe is great on its own, served on top of rice, or added onto a side salad!
  • Yields 32 ounces Maple Dijon Chicken.
  • NOTE: If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can also cook this recipe in a pot over the stove. Just add your ingredients and cook over low for the same amount of time—but, I do NOT recommend leaving the house if you choose to use this method! Be sure to monitor the pot while it cooks!
