Sloppy joe mix healthified, and lightened up by enjoying it as a thin sandwich instead of a carb-loaded bun!
1 can of black beans 15oz, drained & rinsed
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 stalks celery chopped
1 pound (LB) chicken breast boneless skinless
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
2 Tbsp garlic
1/2 tsp garlic powder
20 oz ground turkey breast extra lean
1 Tbsp honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup onions chopped
1 tsp salt
2 cups tomato sauce
Combine all ingredients in a large slow cooker. Mix to combine.
Cook on low for 4–6 hours.
Remove chicken from pot, pull apart using 2 forks and return to pot, stirring to coat in the sauce.
