This healthy cracker recipe is so easy – you only need 4 ingredients! They’ve got a delicious sesame flavor, awesome crunch, and they’re gluten-free!
1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
1 cup garbanzo flour (or fava bean flour)
2 – 3 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup water (room temperature)
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
Place garbanzo flour in a small bowl. In a separate cup, dissolve salt in water, then gently stir salt water into flour.
Incorporate water and flour until a smooth dough forms. Put to the side for 5 minutes to let flour absorb the moisture.
Place dough on well floured parchment paper and roll out as thin as possible, periodically checking that the dough is not sticking. Lightly dust with flour if it starts to stick.
Using either a cookie cutter or a knife, cut shapes and remove any trim. You may save trim to roll again for more crackers.
Place dough pieces onto parchment and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Gently pat dough to press in sesame seeds.
Transfer crackers to a baking sheet, lined with parchment and sprayed, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven, cool completely, and enjoy!
