Savory Granola

Here’s a crunchy, SAVORY granola that you can make with NO OIL at all! And, it’s LOADED with healthy fuel. Between the slow-digesting carbs and fiber in the whole grains, and the wholesome fats in the nuts and seeds, you’ll be energized to power through the day! Plus, it’s full of deliciously surprising flavors, like mustard, tahini, sriracha, and even a bit of maple syrup for a salty-sweet twist. Enjoy it as a fuel-filled snack on its own, or in a savory Greek yogurt parfait!


Wet Ingredients
  • 2-3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • pepper, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 2.5 Tbsp tahini
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • Dry Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Procedure

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients and toss to coat.
  • Transfer to a pan lined with parchment and spread mixture into an even layer.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes. Stir halfway through to prevent burning.
  • Allow to cool completely before breaking up into pieces.
  • Yields ~3 cups granola.
