Chips and dip are a classic combo, but you don’t have to head to a restaurant to get your fix. Make your own healthy BAKED tortilla chips, using just tortillas and your favorite seasonings! And, try this simple TWO INGREDIENT dip, made with just avocados and salsa!
2 avocados mashed
1 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup salsa
salt (to taste)
Homemade Tortilla Chips
garlic salt (to taste)
1 whole wheat tortilla (or as many as you want!)
In a large mixing bowl, mash avocados.
Add salsa and seasonings. Mix to combine.
Yields about 3 cups of dip.
To make your tortilla chips, cut tortillas into wedges or circles. (I used a 2” circular cookie cutter, but you can use whichever shape or size you like!)
Spray and season with garlic salt on a baking rack. Flip and repeat on other side.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15-18 minutes.
Cool before enjoying.
Chips last 3 days stored in an airtight container. 1 medium tortilla yields 18-19 chips.
