Roasted Grapes

Grapes are one of the sweetest and tastiest fruits because of their high natural sugar content, which makes them extra delicious when they’re dried into raisins. But, did you know you can also make scrumptiously sweet ROASTED grapes?! Just add your grapes to a sheet pan, toss with oil and seasonings, and roast until beautifully blistered and caramelized. All of those natural sugars get even sweeter after roasting, and the inside of each grape is like a warm, juicy jam! But, they’re just as yummy enjoyed cold. I like to use a bit of salt and cinnamon to season my roasted grapes, but you can use savory seasonings as well, like balsamic vinegar, fresh thyme, or whatever you like! It’s a simple and fun recipe to switch up your healthy snacking.

NOTE: Make sure to use red grapes for roasting—NOT green! Because green grapes generally contain more water than red grapes, they become very wet and soggy after roasting.


  • 2 tsp avocado oil
  • cinnamon, to taste
  • 2 cups red grapes
  • salt, to taste
  • Procedure

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°).
  • Toss grapes with oil, salt, and cinnamon—or whichever spices you prefer.
  • Add to a sheet pan lined with parchment and roast for 25-30 minutes. They will blister and caramelize outside, and be super juicy like jam on the inside!
