Mexican Chocolate Cookies

Add a little spice and you get not only the benefits of taste, but also boosting your metabolism! Cayenne is great for the metabolism, digestion, and helps to detox!


  • 2 Tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 can of black beans 15oz, drained & rinsed
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne to taste
  • chocolate chips mini dark for topping, optional
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp nut butter
  • 3 Tbsp oat flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup stevia to taste, or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Procedure

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor until well combined.
  • Scoop using a cookie scoop onto a baking sheet (lined with parchment and sprayed) and flatten balls into cooke shapes.
  • Top with optional chocolate chip morsels.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before devouring!
