I am not even a jalapeño fan, but this is my current favorite hummus recipe! The perfect amount of sweetness and spice all in one delicious, healthy spread!
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can of garbanzo beans 15oz, drained and rinsed
2-3 tsp garlic fresh
2 Tbsp honey sub maple syrup for vegan
1-2 jalapeño seeded if desired
2 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp tahini
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until creamy as desired. Adjust seasonings to taste.
Serve with crackers or veggies for dipping, or use on sandwiches!
Serving: 2 Tbsp
yields about 2 cups servings
