A flavorful protein packed dish, where the slow cooker does all the work for you! Let it cook while your’e out all day and come home to a delicious meal (and a great smelling house!)
1 tsp basil
2 pound (LB) chicken breast
3-4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
3-4 Tbsp honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp water
Combine all ingredients except onion and chicken in slow cooker. Whisk to combine your
Stir chicken pieces and onions into the sauce.
Cover your slow cooker and allow to cook on low for 6-8 hours. If you’re in a time crunch, cook on high for 1-2 hours and low for another 2 hours.
When you’re ready to eat, use 2 forks to pull the chicken apart (this should be very easy since the chicken will be so tender after slowly cooking!).
Return to the slow cooker and stir in the sauce.
