Lemonade is so refreshing… but store-bought varieties have more sugar in them than coke! Making your own lemonade is so easy, and significantly healthier. I used stevia, making my homemade lemonade sugar-free, with only 9 calories per glass and 1g sugar, as opposed to store-bought which contains 120 calories and a whopping 28g sugar! Any granulated or liquid sweetener that you prefer will work with this recipe!
1 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sweetener
5 cups water
Bring 1 cup of water to a light boil. Stir in your sweetener and mix until it’s dissolved. Remove from heat.
Combine sweetened water with remaining cold water and lemon juice. Stir.
Refrigerate for a few hours and serve cold over ice!
Serving: 8 oz glass
