Individual packets of oatmeal may be convenient, but they can be loaded with sugar and preservatives. Making your own is so easy and makes breakfast even more affordable!
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp nonfat milk powder sub oat flour for vegan
2 Tbsp oat flour
1/4 cup oats quick cooking
pinch of salt
Add all ingredients to a plastic zip bag.
When ready to cook, add ¾ cup water or milk and microwave on high for about 1 minute (varies per microwave/wattage).
Serving: 1 package
yields 1 bag servings
