Homemade Instant Oatmeal

Individual packets of oatmeal may be convenient, but they can be loaded with sugar and preservatives. Making your own is so easy and makes breakfast even more affordable!


  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp nonfat milk powder sub oat flour for vegan
  • 2 Tbsp oat flour
  • 1/4 cup oats quick cooking
  • pinch of salt
  • Procedure

  • Add all ingredients to a plastic zip bag.
  • When ready to cook, add ¾ cup water or milk and microwave on high for about 1 minute (varies per microwave/wattage).
  • Devour!
