These beauties are an EASY and fun treat. GREAT fun with kids, too! The amount of each ingredient in this recipe is flexible! These are just general amounts for guidance, and to give an idea of the nutritional content. (Nutrition listed in this recipe accounts for 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut shreds as a topping.)
1/2 cup chocolate
1/2 cup toppings of choice
Simply cut bananas in half and poke a popsicle stick through the bottom half of each.
Freeze on parchment paper for 20-30 minutes.
Melt dark chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring, until completely smooth.
Dip and cover bananas with as much chocolate as you’d like, and coat with desired toppings. Do each banana with chocolate and toppings at the same time so the chocolate doesn’t harden to the frozen bananas.
Return to freezer for 3-4 hours.
Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before enjoying. Easy peasy!!!
Serving: 1 dipped banana half
