Almonds are an amazing source of fuel, filled with healthy fats and protein! Turn them into a fuel-filled sweet treat with this easy recipe!
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 egg white
2 cups raw almonds
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut sugar, salt and, cinnamon.
In a separate large bowl, beat egg whites until frothy, then mix in vanilla.
Add almonds and stir gently to coat.
Add cinnamon sugar to nut mixture and stir gently to coat.
Spread evenly onto two greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until almonds are crisp, stirring once.
Allow to cool before enjoying!
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Serving: 1/4 cup,
yields about 2 cups servings
