Candied pecans are a holiday classic—and this lightened-up cinnamon glazed pecans recipe requires NO oven, no oil and no egg whites! Coated in a simple cinnamon sugar syrup, they’re light, sweet, and crispy—like a churro, but more nutritious!
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 cup coconut sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups roasted pecans (or raw)
1/3 cup water
Combine coconut sugar, cinnamon, salt, and water in a skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, and then stir in the pecans.
Coat pecans completely and stir for about 8-10 minutes, until the mixture is dry.
Spread out on parchment paper and allow to cool.
Serve and enjoy!
Yields ~2 cups glazed pecans.
