Cashew Cream Cheese

This homemade dairy-free cream cheese uses cashews as a base! The consistency is SO much like cream cheese, you won’t believe it!


  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • chives finely chopped
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked 4 hours
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1-2 Tbsp water if necessary for consistency
  • Procedure

  • Drain cashews from water and blend in a food processor until smooth (a few minutes).
  • Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt, and apple cider vinegar. Blend, adding water if needed to adjust consistency.
  • Stir in chopped chives, or your favorite flavorings!
  • Yields about 1 cup cashew cream cheese.
