Beet Hummus

Beet Hummus

A beautiful color that’s all natural! Low in fat with NO added oil!


  • 1 beet chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of cayenne to taste, optional
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 can of garbanzo beans 15oz, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients in a a food processor. Adjust ingredients to taste. Chill if preferred.
  • Devour with homemade pita chips or fresh vegetables!
  • Store in fridge.
