Asian-Inspired Tofu

Tofu is a great plant-based protein choice! This recipe is packed with flavor and perfect for meal prep. You can use this tofu as a base ingredient to top off a healthy bowl, to fill a burrito, or on top of a salad!


  • 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 16 oz tofu block, pressed & cubed
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • Procedure

  • Before cooking, place tofu on paper towels and press block between two plates or two cutting boards, with some kind of weight on top (for about 1-2 hours). This will remove excess liquid from the tofu.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then line a baking sheet with foil and spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine tofu marinade ingredients (soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and water) and whisk together.
  • Cut tofu into cubes, then toss tofu in marinade and bake for about 45 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and enjoy!
  • I used my marinated tofu to top off a bowl, with herby lemon quinoa, roasted veggies, seasoned beans, and fresh avocado slices!
